Yeniboa Mano Micro Loan (Seed of Faith-Burkina Faso)
Pledged of $225 Goal
Days to Go
Mr. Yeniboa Mano lives in Fada N’Gourma, Burkina Faso. He is a retail shop owner, in business for more than 5 years. His previous shop was destroyed by a fire, but with the help of his savings and neighbors, he was able to start again. He is married and has one son.
He sells rice, oil, sugar, soap, powdered milk, canned milk, spaghetti, macaroni, tomatoes, biscuits, milk, coffee, wheat flour, as well as other products.
Yeniboa seeks a micro loan of $225 to enlarge his inventory. He says, “By adding more merchandise I have the chance to raise my sales. Due to the consumption of my shop in the past August, I lost a lot of customers. With the little savings I had made and with the help of neighbors, I was able to pick up a bit. But, I know that by adding more my turnover, I have a chance to recover many of my customers and have more.”
With anticipated net income of about $30 per week, UB2 believes Mr. Mano will be able to easily repay a loan of $225 over 9 months, per his request.
