Mr. Kidia Thiombiano lives in Tanwalbougou, Burkina Faso. He is married with four children, and he’s an active member in his community and in the Lutheran church, for which he is the president. He is also an active member in his community, not the least of which is overseeing the work of two apprentices in his business.

Kidia is a butcher, buying live bulls and selling the meat he butchers from his shop. This has been his trade for more than two years. The key to success in this business, he says, is to “have good, healthy meat for my customers.” His customers are local families and small restaurants called, kiosques.

Mr. Thiombiano requests a micro loan of $975 for the purchase of “high quality, fattened beef.”

With anticipated net income of nearly $240 per week, UB2 believes Mr. Thiombiano will be able to easily repay a loan of $975 over 6 months, per his request.

Kidia’s sponsor is the Seed of Faith organization in Fada N’Gourma, Burkina Faso. For more information about Seed of Faith and its leadership, please CLICK HERE.
